OUR STORY
Barobatsi was born out of a shared vision to contribute to anaesthesia care in South Africa into a service that is equitable. Barobatsi is founded by a team of six dedicated specialist anaesthesiologists all of whom are women and exists to bridge gaps in access and quality within the healthcare system.
We understand that going into theatre is one of the most vulnerable moments in a person’s life. Patients deserve to feel safe and cared for, surgeons deserve dependable partners they can trust, and anaesthetists deserve opportunities to thrive without barriers or exploitation.
